Our Place in the Community
- Our ministry specializes on preaching the Gospel, first of all. Our financial situation doesn't allow us to rent a building yet, so we preach on the street and in people's apartments
- We also give English and Russian lessons in order to raise the people's ability to compete on the job market.
- We fight the ever increasing unemployment by helping the people
get a job through the data base, which God has helped us to create.
We also give those that look for a job a recommendation.
- We have a functioning healing ministry.During this time of
ministering one lady was healed of a brain tumor right in the
hospital. We minister to the sick by visiting them, cooking for
them, praying and studying the Word together.
- We support Christians by giving out finances, food, clothes,
Bibles, helping find job and living accommodations.Even though the
number of Christians here is really small (less than 1 per cent),
the people that are in the ministry with me are very faithful.
- We train missionaries, evangelists, teachers, prophets and
pastors, as well as preparing those with an apostolic calling for
church planting. The Christians here are extremely poor, but almost
all pay tithes.
Our Current Ministries
We have many people that don't have a place to live, because Russia is in a war with Chechnya, plus there are many small wars around the ex-Soviet Union. People lose all they have and run to Moscow, because it's the capital (the most protected city). Here there are many thieves that are waiting to harm these people. God has blessed me to create a data base of appt.s available here and there for the needy ones, but many times the poor people can't pay even for a room. Many of us take people in to live with them. I've had 7 people living with me in one room, but the land lady has kicked me out. I've had to move 10 times during this year an a half, because I take people in. I pray to have a refugee center to help these families.
We also give them clothes. We help them to find work and get off the streets. We evangelise them and pray for them. We are with the Comission for Children at Risk. Our ministry is in need of sponsoring. Our area(s) of ministry:Education Resources, Humanitarian Aid/Relief, Orphanage Sponsorship,
Post-Orphanage Transition Programs, Street Children.
Developing Ministries
, as well as their families.
We have evangelistic services outside or in someone's appt. We're praying to have a place for these precious ones to give them proper care. I've found two buildings, which we could rent, but we're praying for the finances to come. We also minister to the gangs by evangelizing, feeding, clothing and praying,as well as teaching them. Most of the young people here are in armed gangs. They are afraid and armed, each fearing for themselves and for their family.
Russia has its own many minorities who suffer greatly from racism and the Nazi movement that is extremely aggressive and wide spread here. The government is only interested in increasing the racial tensions. Also, we have many foreign students that are mistreated here. Many of African countries are in a war, that's why Africans try to escape to Russia. Russia gives them refuge. This country is so poor and corrupt that it doesn't have the means to support these people or to provide them with a job,so they just allow them to enter the country and basically throw them out on the street to be rubbed, killed and mistreated. We minister to these darlings by feeding them, giving clothes to the needy and by the Word. I have a great desire to have an appt. building to allow these people to have a home and Christian fellowship. These people really need the protection of a church, so the people and the gangs in the neighborhood wouldn't attack them.
